Seedling Classroom

The Seedling classroom offers children twelve to 33 months, a unique opportunity to develop their sense of autonomy. This classroom has a ratio of two teachers to seven children. The children begin their Montessori experience here, and are encouraged to continue their journey and development throughout our other classrooms.

Sprout Classroom (2 - 3 years)

The older toddler/preschooler will continue or perhaps begin their experience in our Sprout program. This classroom has the capacity for seven children, two to three years of age, who experience what Maria Montessori deemed a most critical age for learning. Teachers encourage and facilitate an enriching environment, allowing children to grow and develop in a calm and nurturing manner.

Preschool/Kindergarten

Also referred to as Children’s House, our Preschool/Kindergarten room offers children 2.9 years to 6 years, an environment that fosters cooperative learning, peer teaching, and emotional development. Here your child will conclude their journey at Montessori Beginnings in a classroom that promotes critical thinking and concrete learning. Children are exposed to culture, geography, language, literacy, math, and sensorial materials, as well as outdoor play and everyday living and social skills children require to achieve autonomy.
