About Beverly Richards Dance Center in East Boston, MA

Beverly Richards Buckley has been teaching quality dance education for 39 years at the Beverly Richards Dance Center, and the results speak for themselves. BRDC is home to several Grand National Dance Champions, professional dancers, and five Miss Massachusetts titleholders to date. Current students of BRDC are also college-bound scholarship recipients, and the studio was recently crowned the 2021 Step Up 2 Dance Competition National Dance Grand Champions. In addition to her teaching career, Beverly is a professional performer. She was a 6 year veteran of the New England Patriot Cheerleaders and former choreographer of the Boston Breaker Cheerleaders. She also has a professional dance troupe, Beverly Richards & Company, which has been featured with various celebrities such as Bob Hope and Tony Randall. Through her incredible dedication and determination, Beverly has proven that the combination of scholastic education and performing arts can be highly respected.

Toddler Time Classes

Ages Walking - 3.5 Introduction to dance, 45-minute class -1 hour classes depending on enrollment and desired needs of the classroom.

Pre-school Classes

Ages 3 - 5 Kinder-Combo, Creative Movement, Tiny Tumble, Hippidy Hop, and Combo Classes: Ballet/Tap, Class Levels 1, 2, and 3. The cutest ages of dance! They love the element of surprise!

Competition Classes

TONS OF FUN! That is towards both dancers, parents, and their families!! Builds skills of life on a whole other level! We believe in teaching the value of life through friendly competitions where many wonderful memories and life lessons are made! Attendance is really important for all to succeed! A minimum of 90% attendance is required. To qualify, you must be enrolled in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz class. These classes are mandatory. Students must be committed to perform and compete all year at the regional and national levels.
