Welcome to Shire Village, a spirited summer community nestled in the gentle mountains of the Berkshires. Our camp has been giving children incredible memories and experiences for over 40 years! Our campers, counselors, and specialists work together to create an environment that focuses on cooperative play, respect for individual differences, creativity, active participation, and healthful living. At Shire Village, we provide our campers with a variety of activities, including theater, horseback riding, arts and crafts, farm and nature, and swimming. We also keep our camper to staff ratio at an impressive 3 to 1, so that every camper gets the attention they deserve. We want to make sure your child has the best summer possible, so we strive to create a supportive and enriching atmosphere where children can learn and grow.
