The Barn Co-Op Nursery School is an ideal learning environment for young children. Parents have the unique opportunity to be part of their child’s educational journey as parent helpers. Through their involvement, they help keep The Barn running and thriving. Families also come together for social activities such as parent coffees, summer playdates, and an annual Spring Auction fundraiser. This sense of community continues beyond the preschool years, making it easy to stay connected with friends from The Barn. The Barn Co-Op Nursery School is a wonderful place for families to come together and play an active role in their child’s early learning. Parents can help out with daily activities and maintenance tasks while also joining in on social activities like parent coffees, summer playdates, and the annual Spring Auction. And with so many families staying connected, The Barn becomes an extended family.

The Concord Recreation Commission is a five-member group appointed by the Town Manager. They are dedicated to providing policy guidance to the Recreation Department on programs, operations, and long-term planning. Their work is documented in Agendas and Minutes which are posted after approval. Those seeking to review the documents from 2001 until the present can find them available at the Hunt Building. Those wishing to review the files should contact the Recreation Department. The Concord Recreation Commission works hard to ensure that the Recreation Department is well-equipped with the information and guidance it needs to operate in an efficient and effective manner. They provide the necessary oversight and support for ensuring that the department is running smoothly and providing quality programs.

Our professional and well-qualified teachers have studied and trained in a variety of settings, and they bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to each class. At our academy, all ages are welcome – from three-year-olds to adults. We offer an array of classes in a variety of dance styles, from ballet to hip-hop to modern.
