The Guild of St. Agnes is proud to have been providing quality educational and care services to families in Central Massachusetts since 1913. We are one of the largest early education and care agencies in the region, offering services to over 1,600 children across 8 child care sites, 130 licensed family homes, and 11 school age programs.
All of these services are licensed by the MA Department of Early Education and Care and our Centers are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). This prestigious accreditation ensures that each family can be confident that they are receiving the highest quality of care for their children.
Quality infant-toddler care is exceptionally important since the first three years of life is a highly significant period in the development of a child’s brain. During this time the framework of a child’s brain is formed through the interactions the child makes with the people and things in his or her environments. If the interactions are comparatively limited then this results in the brain formation becoming relatively simple while varied and frequent interactions contribute to creating a more complex brain structure.

School Age Care
The Guild of St. Agnes offers school age programs in the Fitchburg, Gardner, and Worcester communities. The Guild transports from several schools to the center. Open to children enrolled in kindergarten through grade 6, these programs are designed to meet the full range of each child’s developmental, social and emotional needs. Homework assistance, enrichment and recreational activities along with health and life skills training make up our daily activities.
