About Charlton Arts & Activities Center in Charlton, MA
At the Town of Charlton Activity Center, our mission is to provide a fun, safe, and engaging environment for all ages. We are proud to offer a variety of year-round activities to the residents of our community, including drama, art, Irish step dance and music classes. Our newly renovated barn and farmhouse provide a unique and inviting atmosphere in which to learn and create. The Town of Charlton Activity Center is dedicated to helping our community members explore their creative side. Our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for everyone to come together and learn something new. We strive to make sure that the activities we offer are both enjoyable and educational, so that residents of all ages can explore their interests and passions.

Programs at Charlton Arts & Activities Center in Charlton, MA
BeAKid
Art Programs
Take classes in the fine arts and crafting. Our resident artist, Pierre, offers art lessons from traditional to modern in all mediums for all skill levels. Lessons available for adults and for children ages 10 & up.

IRISH DANCE
Children in Irish Dance classes will learn age-appropriate traditional Irish Dance steps and dances. As they progress through the levels of Irish Dance, steps and dances become more challenging, keeping kids engaged by learning new material. Depending on ability and their devotion to practice, children will move up through the levels of Irish Dance. Class level assignments are determined by Miss Carla and reflect both a dancer's current skill level, commitment, and maturity level. It is very possible that a child will repeat a year or two of the beginning levels to give them the solid foundation necessary for more difficult steps and dances.

Music
The Charlton Arts & Activities Center offers a multitude of opportunities to enjoy music, be it performing or listening, in a "down home" atmosphere. The superlative acoustics make this an enjoyable venue for all things musical.

Come see the Pasture Prime Players, our resident theater group. Be sure to also check out summer performances by the Pasture Bedtime children's group.
