About Carver Dance Center, Inc.

At Carver Dance Center, the teachers bring something special to each and every class. They are passionate about what they do, and it is evident in their teaching of proper technique as well as the captivating choreography presented at the recital each year. Many of the teachers were former students of the school, so they understand how important it is to bring something unique to each class. Carver Dance Center are committed to provide an equal opportunity to all their students, which is why they have no select competition team or company. Instead, they focus on helping the community by organizing various events such as fundraisers and nursing home visits, and providing a space for students to express themselves through the art of dance. The school's mission is to share the love of dance with the wider community while bringing joy to those in need.

Pre-School
Students will learn dance through creative movement. Age appropriate curriculum will include learning left from right, following directions, waiting their turn, basics of ballet, rhythm. In January the students will be introduced to tap. This class will perform in the year end recital.

General 1
Students will continue to build upon tap technique the started to learn in the Pre-School class. The begin to learn more in dept ballet and continue tumbling to build muscles and body knowledge.

Contemporary
Contemporary is a combinations of many styles of dance, the focus of this class is the body’s movement through space to tell a story.
