About Steve & Kate's Camp - Cambridge

At our camp, we believe that some of life’s most important lessons can be learned by exploring on one’s own. That’s why we’ve designed our program around self-directed learning. We provide a safe environment where children can make their own decisions, and with the right amount of freedom and support, they can gain the confidence to take on the world. Making mistakes is part of the learning process, and our camp provides a safe space for kids to do so. Our approach helps kids to develop the skills they need to navigate the real world. We’re committed to providing our campers with the tools to make the most of life and the confidence to take it on.

Summer Camp
Campers choose minute to minute from a variety of activities including, sewing, stop-motion animation, music, sports & recreation, makers crafts, bread making, and more. They’ll decide what they want to do, and for how long. Our job is to get out of their way, cheerlead creative risks, and provide just enough guidance to make sure nobody does anything totally* asinine.
