About John Galinato Build-It-Yourself in Cambridge, MA
Build-It-Yourself is a program designed to spark creativity, learning, and collaboration among kids aged 8-18. Driven by groundbreaking technology-in-education research from MIT, Build-It-Yourself brings together art and engineering to create a unique online global laboratory. Our mission is to empower kids to use technology with creativity, constructiveness, and collaboration.
To ensure each student has the best learning experience, Build-It-Yourself has developed a network of Teaching Assistants (TAs) from renowned universities to help children engage in live webcasts. Our strategy is to create content that can be used by this network of TAs to help kids learn while having fun.
At Build-It-Yourself, we believe that technology should be used to enhance learning and creativity in a positive way. Kids can use our platform to learn in a safe and fun environment, and TAs can use this as an opportunity to inspire the next generation of engineers and artists. With the help of our TA network, Build-It-Yourself is at the forefront of technology-in-education, and we can't wait to see the amazing things kids will create in our global laboratory.
