About Central Square Theater

Central Square Theater is committed to creating theater that catalyzes social justice, science, and sexual politics. They strive to create an inclusive, welcoming environment to all members of the community. CST’s award-winning productions, the Catalyst Collaborative@MIT Science Theater Initiative, and youth development programming create an environment where points of view can be heard, perspectives can shift, and change can take place.

Summer Stage Program
At Summer Stage, aspiring theater artists ages 7+ learn skills in improvisation, comedy, ensemble building, creative movement, and character development. Take a break from technology, work safely together with friends, make theater, and have fun!

If you know a young person age 13 to 25 eager to expand their performance experience and explore their identity through theater, join Youth Underground.
