About Joan's Olympic Gym & Fitness

Joan's Olympic Gym has been providing top-notch instruction in gymnastics and dance to the South Shore for over thirty-five years! Founded in 1983 by Joan Sullivan McDonough, this 4,000 square foot space is conveniently located in Braintree, just outside of Weymouth Landing. The staff at Joan's Olympic Gym is carefully selected and trained individually by the owner, Joan Sullivan McDonough. All of the staff members are CPR and First-Aid certified, so you can rest assured that your child is receiving the best possible instruction in a fun and safe environment. The gym is fully equipped with all the necessary equipment to ensure a successful learning experience. For over three decades, Joan's Olympic Gym has been providing quality training in gymnastics and dance to the South Shore. With a commitment to excellence, Joan Sullivan McDonough has created a space where children can learn and grow in a supportive and nurturing environment.

SUMMER PROGRAM
We offer these programs so that the student will continue to develop his or her skills and to keep their awareness of the sport intact.

Recreational Gymnastics
Our Recreational Gymnastics classes are for children of any ability! All children will be grouped by ability. Classes are one hour long once per week and consist of stretching and a rotation through all four events: bars, beam, floor, and vault.

Dance
Our Dance Classes all include Ballet, Tap, and Hip Hop. Our Dancers perform in a recital in June and select classes perform in exhibitions throughout the year.
