At Head Start and Early Head Start, we believe in strong family engagement. We strive to provide parents with the support they need to help their children reach their full potential. Our family service staff works in partnership with you to help you achieve your goals for your child and to support their learning and healthy development. Through our parent engagement initiatives, you’ll have opportunities to get involved in your child’s education. You’ll be able to volunteer in the classroom, assist in program planning and design, provide feedback, and extend the learning environment into your home.

Early Head Start programs are available from before your child is born until they turn 3. You may qualify for our pregnant women program or our part-day or full-day program.



Early Head Start 

Head Start programs are available to preschool-age children. If you have a child between 2.9 and 5 years old, you may qualify for either our part-day or full-day program.
