Zero Gravity was created with the goal of providing every team with the chance to gain access to a fun and professional tournament experience. By recognizing the needs of the everyday basketball player, Zero Gravity has become the go-to destination for club basketball players from elementary school all the way up to the national level. Coaches, program directors, and team supporters are all part of the experience and are integral to the success of Zero Gravity.

A STEP AHEAD
A Step Ahead (ASA) Basketball was established and founded by Brendan Smith in 1997 as a Summer camp for the City of Newton (MA). The camps have grown throughout the years as they have partnered with the likes of US Sports Camps (a Nike sponsored affiliate), former Celtic Walter McCarty, and its most recent collaboration with Phenom America.

ACHIEVE MORE
The Zero Gravity Program Profile series takes a stop in Newark, DE, where we meet with Jason Young, program director of Achieve More Basketball. Starting only a few years ago in 2015, Jason and Achieve More started with only one team, but have quickly grown to having eight teams in their program. Jason says the biggest difference from Year 1 and now is their ability to form teams. He said when they first started, he would be going to 3 games a day looking at kids he’d want to get to play in his program. Now, if he hosts a tryout, he’ll have hundred of interested kids show up who want to play for him.

ALL DAY HOOPS
Today’s Program Profile brings us all the way to Altoona, PA, to meet with one of the fastest growing teams in Pennsylvania, All Day Hoops. Founded by an extremely accomplished player, Ryan Lestochi began All Day Hoops in October of 2017. He began and continues to run out of Summit Tennis & Athletic Club, where he’s gone from zero teams/players at the inception to now having 13 teams and many players involved in camps and lessons with the program. Ryan says his ability to create a “system” has made growth and his sustainability intact. He has coaches, his own website to promote his teams, camps, and lessons, as well as social media pages for the program to give his players exposure opportunities.
