BeAKid
Core: Grades 6 & 7
Waring School's Core Program is designed to help students make the transition from an elementary school curriculum to Waring's rigorous program. We emphasize building skills in a demanding but supportive environment. Because students spend two years in Core, they can develop important skills at their own pace.

Science, Engineering, and Technology
Waring's Science, Engineering, and Technology (S.E.T.) Program provides students with meaningful experiences for understanding the natural sciences and related technologies through rigorous study, observation, and experimentation. Science at Waring seeks to foster growth and development of scientific methods, scientific knowledge, and creative problem-solving. Waring believes that the study of science encourages students to develop a concrete and important understanding of the natural world which provides the foundation for future scientific study as well as the scaffolding for understanding sustainability and the responsibility of environmental stewardship. This scientific connection to nature supports the student's natural enthusiasm, wonder, and pursuit of knowledge and sets the stage for continuing this pursuit beyond Waring School.

Waring's Theater Program
Waring's Theater Program is focused on nurturing students’ artistic impulses and thereby enabling them to flourish in multiple performance roles and as confident lifelong learners who create fully realized and inclusive theatrical experiences. Waring Theater is an ensemble-based program that encourages students to participate in multiple design aspects while simultaneously fully developing their onstage potential. Through exercises, improvisation, and scene study, students increase their range of physical and vocal expression.
