At the Kendall School, we strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and learn. Our teachers are dedicated to providing an enriching and creative experience that promotes positive self-esteem and encourages a lifelong love of learning. Through a variety of both teacher-directed and child-directed activities, we aim to foster the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of our pre-school-age students. We believe that the first school experience is essential to helping children gain independence and develop the skills necessary to face the challenges of elementary school.
The Kendall School offers a Transitional Kindergarten program called “Kendall K.” This program is designed to accommodate children with fall birthdays who miss the traditional cut-off date of September 1st for their town elementary kindergarten class. It is also an enriching alternative for parents who may want their child to experience an extra year of preschool.
