At CODEMAKERS, kids and teens in the Boston area have the opportunity to attend summer camps that are focused on coding and robotics. Led by enthusiastic college students, campers learn the fundamentals of programming in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. With small groups of four, campers have the chance to interact with humanoid robots and gradually build the technical skills needed to develop their own projects related to robotics and AI. Founded by educator Rachelle Reinhart, PhD, CODEMAKERS is a locally owned and operated business.

CODEMAKERS teachers make learning the principles of coding engaging, fun, and creative - there's no telling what robots will do! We teach in small groups with a maximum of 4 campers per teacher. Our instructors are undergraduate computer science and engineering majors. Our teaching assistants are junior and senior high school students trained in computer programming and robotics. Campers enjoy extended lunch and games at Beaver Brook Spray Deck and Playground or Butler Elementary School, weather permitting.
