About Whiz Kids Learning Center

Welcome to Whiz Kids Children’s Center, a fully licensed child care center that has been providing a safe and loving space for all children on Cape Cod since 1985. Founded by Susan Heinlein, the center employs caring teachers who are dedicated to helping bridge the gap between home and school, making the transition smoother for your child. We understand that your child’s education is of utmost importance, which is why we strive to create a positive attitude towards learning, their classmates, and their teachers. At Whiz Kids, we provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that will help your child to grow, learn, and play.

Infant/Toddler Program
Our Infant/Toddler program provides daily learning activities geared toward little hands, varying attention spans, and different skill levels. Activities include: • grasping • dropping • crawling • cruising • peek-a-boo • pushing • pulling • finger-plays • sensory exploration • dancing • book browsing • talking • listening • outdoor play

Preschool Program
Our structured Preschool Program exposes children to a curriculum that is flexible enough to accommodate individual differences in needs, abilities, and interests. Our Preschool Program is offered to children 2 years and 9 months through kindergarten. Children do a project, have circle time, and engage in various types of play in the morning. They rest after lunch, and may nap on a cot or engage in a quiet activity such as reading or coloring.

Before & After School
Our School-Aged Program includes before and after school hours as well as care during school vacations and closures. Children can be transported to school on one of our school buses. Snacks are served after school and children can choose from a variety of fun activities including: • arts and crafts • games • movies • books • basket ball • other playground activities
