About Kung Fu & Tai Chi Academy of New England in Auburn, MA
At our school, we are proud to pass on a legacy of knowledge that has been handed down for thousands of years. We strive to teach the highest quality traditional kung fu, which is not easily found in other schools. We provide a welcoming, safe, and positive environment that focuses on the development of each individual as they learn and grow at their own pace. Our school is suited for all ages, offering Kids, Adult, and Senior classes. Our Kids classes teach discipline, strengthen their bodies, and most importantly, have lots of fun! Meanwhile, our Adult classes allow teens, adults, and seniors to train together and develop personal mastery, fitness and conditioning, and balance and coordination, all while having a great time!

BeAKid
Kids Kung Fu
Studying Kung Fu from a young age lays a foundation in fitness and self-confidence that lasts a lifetime. It’s a healthy channel for kids natural energy, and a good way for kids to learn responsibility (you get out what you put in!) and leadership.
Kids are taught by Sifu Gary with help from his senior students, which means the techniques are rock-solid and there’s plenty of attention and encouragement to go around, all aimed at helping students to become their best selves.

Adult Kung Fu
Join us in our study of Huaquan, a Northern Long Fist style dating back to the 5th century.
Our curriculum includes forms, sparring, weapons training, and a constant study of striking and trapping techniques. We use drills, bag work, and isometric and body weight exercises to increase our power and endurance. We stretch safely and efficiently to achieve maximum flexibility.
Challenge yourself to grow in endurance, flexibility, skill, and power and discover a community of fellow enthusiasts along the way.

Tai Chi
Some study Tai Chi as a form of meditation in motion; others study it to increase flexibility and joint mobility, or to achieve elegance and grace; others find it effective in stress relief or even pain relief. Students of Kung Fu know that Tai Chi increases knowledge of body mechanics, making you a more effective, more solidly rooted fighter.
Whatever your reason for coming, we know you will enjoy taking a quiet hour to learn under our expert teachers as you learn to move your body the way it was meant to move.
