Massachusetts, with its four distinct seasons, offers an ever-changing backdrop for their adventures. During the autumn months, the trees explode into a riot of reds, oranges, and yellows, making the forests look like they've been kissed by a rainbow. In winter, the landscapes transform into a snowy wonderland, perfect for making snow angels or having epic snowball fights. Spring brings a carpet of wildflowers, and summer means it's time to dip toes into the cool lakes. Now, these Mighty Mass Hikers aren't like regular kids. No, sir! The camp’s staff and volunteers work hard to ensure a safe and positive atmosphere for all campers. At Camp Middlesex, campers are encouraged to learn and grow through positive reinforcement and the development of leadership skills. The camp provides a fun and safe environment for all campers to explore and develop leadership skills. Campers are encouraged to think independently and take responsibility for their own actions. Through the camp activities, campers learn to become more independent and develop a sense of community and responsibility.
