Camp Middlesex

The day camp program runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM. Lunch is offered for an additional fee. As a day camper, you will choose between various activities that the camp has to offer during the morning periods. In the afternoon, you will participate in 2 choice periods, a rest hour, and 1 period of free time. Every Thursday afternoon, you will participate in a “Big Event.” Big events are based on the theme for the week and are a fun program for all.

As a junior camper, you will reside in a cabin with 2 counselors, 1 CIT (Counselor in Training), and up to 9 campers. All cabins at camp have electricity and are located near a centralized bathhouse with hot water and showers! If campers are coming with friends or families, it is not an issue for us to place them in the same cabin as long as they are of the same gender and about the same age. In the morning, there are 3 activities, and in each period junior campers choose one of 2 options. For example, for their first-period class campers might have to choose between nature and sports. Campers pick the option that they like the best! In the afternoon, you participate in 2 choice periods, rest hour, and 2 periods of free time.

As a teen camper, you will reside in either the Hillside cabins, Hilltop, Blackberry, or Blueberry cabin. Each cabin has 1-2 counselors depending on size. All cabins have electricity and are located near a centralized bathhouse with hot water and showers! If campers are coming with friends or families, it is not an issue for us to place them in the same cabin as you as long as you are of the same gender and about the same age. In the morning, teen campers participate in a track of activities that they choose on Sunday. In the afternoon, there are 2 choice periods, a rest hour, and 2 periods of free time. At night, the teen camp stays up an extra hour to participate in the teen evening programs. The extra program offers campers the chance to do some fun activities while “hanging out” with other teens at camp. Past activities have included night swims, wacky games, and campfires.
