At Acton School of Ballet, we are dedicated to delivering the highest quality of training in classical ballet for all ages and skill levels. Our Fairy Tale Dance program through Level 10 Pre-Professional is designed to give our students a deep appreciation for the beauty and discipline of this timeless art form. Our experienced instructors provide a nurturing environment for each student, tailored to their individual goals. We encourage our students to challenge themselves and progress at a rate equal to their commitment to learn. We also offer extra classes for those who wish to accelerate their development. Programs at Acton School of Ballet in Acton, MA
BeAKid
LOWER SCHOOL
Students begin to learn the concepts of dance through the simple class structure, stretching, and expression through music in movement— all while having lots of fun. This is a 2-year syllabus for 3 year olds. 4 year olds will continue to Pre-ballet the following year when they enter Kindergarten.
BeAKid
UPPER SCHOOL
Students proceed through the ballet syllabus via yearly level classes. Each level is designed to reinforce prior work and introduce and refine technique so that the students’ ballet education is cumulative and naturally evolving as they mature. A large emphasis is also placed on developing artistry and style as students progress into the highest levels or into the Pre-Professional Program. Students may continue on this formal path if promoted yearly by the faculty. Many students may spend more than 1 year in a level to ensure proper progression of technique.

Students must be enrolled in Level 7 or above of the ASB Classical Ballet Syllabus Track, and be at least 13 years of age.
