About Christine Proia’s Dance Academy

At Christine Proia’s Dance Academy in Saugus MA, we strive to provide the best possible dance instruction and services. Our intensive program is geared towards the serious dancer who is willing to make dance their main priority. We provide a well-rounded curriculum, covering Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical/Contemporary, Pointe, and Hip Hop. Through class evaluations and the director’s decision, dancers can be placed in our intensive program. Tuition is based on the level each student is placed in. We know that for a dancer to be successful, they need to have confidence, desire and passion for the art. That’s why we take great pride in the quality of instruction and services we provide. We encourage our students to be dedicated and committed in order to reach their fullest potential. At Christine Proia’s Dance Academy, we believe in creating a safe and positive environment for all our dancers.

-Teenie Tiny Ballerinas Preschool 1( Age 2.9-3.5)

Class meets once per week for 30 minutes. Students are introduced to dance and creative movement with emphasis on balance and coordination. To further develop interest and skill, the use of musical games and songs will help them in preparation for further training. Children will perform in our year-end recital.

Preschool 2 Age 3.6-4.5 Years Old

Class will meet once per week for 45 minutes. They will be introduced to tap using various types of music and will learn rhythms and sounds. Dancers will expand their knowledge of ballet, building a solid foundation of skills for years to come. Children will perform one routine in our year-end recital.

Kindercombo Age 4.5-5 Years Old

Class will meet once per week for one hour. Dancers will explore the fundamentals of tap, ballet and tumbling. They will learn terminology needed to further their training. Children will perform one routine in our year-end recital.

Trio Combo Class Age 5 & 6 Year Olds

Class will meet once per week for one hour. Children enrolled in this class should already have a full year of kindercombo. Students will be introduced to the disciplines of Ballet, Tap and Jazz emphasizing on techniques and stretching. Dancers will perform two routines in our year-end recital.
