About Camp Shriver at UMass Boston in Boston, MA

The University of Massachusetts Boston has been a proud host of Camp Shriver for the past ten years. Camp Shriver has welcomed over 800 children from low-income families in the Boston area, half of whom have intellectual and developmental disabilities. This inclusive summer sports camp is one of the few programs that accept children with disabilities and strive to enroll an equal number of children with and without disabilities. Camp Shriver ensures that all children have the opportunity to learn and play together, as equals, while promoting positive peer relationships. The University of Massachusetts Boston is proud to continue the legacy of Mrs. Eunice Kennedy Shriver in 2015 with the 10th annual Camp Shriver.
