About Alan Kessler’s Karate Center

Our facility is a safe and positive atmosphere for our students to learn the martial arts, develop better self-discipline and values, and gain confidence. We are dedicated to teaching the martial arts the traditional way and our goal is to provide our students with the knowledge, skills, and attitude to be successful in life.

Programs

TIGERS(Age 2-3)
A program for our youngest students! In a 30 minute class, children practice through the martial arts and in a fun based, supportive atmosphere, the teamwork and listening skills necessary to achieve success at home and in school, each class emphasizing the importance of showing respect for others.

Dragons (Age 4-8)
During class we discuss topics such as peer pressure and Internet bullying. We encourage students to discuss issues that they may be having in school or within their social circle. We try to stay connected to our parents.

CRANES(Age 9-15)
Cranes students study a more intense program than our Dragon students. Cranes classes contain many of the drills and training curriculum from our adult program yet is delivered in an age appropriate way. Crane students start to learn about technique application and style philosophy as their training progresses. Uechi Ryu classes for this age group work on building core fitness skills and stamina. Students learn traditional forms and deepen their self defense training.
