Bring out your child’s inner artist with our year-round creative art workshops! Our unique program offers fun and engaging art classes for kids and teens in New Orleans and all over the world. During the summer, our camp schedule includes morning and afternoon classes, as well as exciting walking trips to Markey Park and Clouet Gardens. We also swim twice a week at Stalling Pool. With a small class size of 24 students, and a 1/6 student/teacher ratio, your child will benefit from individualized attention and instruction. All materials, field trips, and transportation are included in the tuition, as well as Friday Pizza Parties! At the end of each session, students will have the opportunity to showcase their work in a final presentation to family and friends. With our creative art workshops, your child will gain confidence and a sense of accomplishment, and have lots of fun, too!
Summer camp is the perfect way for heart children ages 7 - 16 to have an unforgettable experience. Each June, about 45 campers from across the state and nation come together to explore the best that camp has to offer, including horseback riding, swimming, heart class, sports, art, canoeing, and archery. Campers can make lifelong friends while having a blast in a safe and supportive environment. Parents, if you’re looking for a great way to bond with your family, consider attending Family Camp with other families of children with CHDs. Held each January, Family Camp is a CBC favorite, and provides an opportunity for families to meet others in similar situations, create a support network, and enjoy family bonding and fun. Summer camp and Family Camp are a great way for heart children and their families to make memories, create connections, and enjoy the great outdoors. Are you looking for a summer camp for your church's children’s ministry? Look no further! We offer a Children’s Camp for completed 1st-6th graders. To ensure the safety of each child, we ask that each group bring 1 chaperone for every 5 campers of the same gender. To ensure the best experience for all participants, ALL children attending must have completed the first grade to attend camp. NO younger children/siblings will be allowed to stay on campus.
