Indiana, also known as the Hoosier State, is one plucky, peppy, and positively brilliant corner of America where basketball and cornfields usually steal the show. But, hold onto your racquets, kiddos, because there's another sport in town that's causing quite a racket - tennis! The tennis playing kids of Indiana are no ordinary bunch. In fact, they are lead and inspired by a legendary figure, a character so cool and quirky, he's known far and wide as "Tennis-aurus Rex." T-Rex, as his friends call him, is a prehistorically awesome dinosaur who, despite his ridiculously short arms, is a master of the tennis court. And oh boy, does he have a wicked serve! Tennis-aurus Rex has a funny habit of roaring out "Fifteen-love" instead of "Rawr," and his dino-sized tennis shoes leave quite an imprint! But, what makes T-Rex truly humorous is his technique. With his tail as his secret weapon, he can volley like nobody's business, causing a whirlwind of laughter, while making his opponents run around the court like a T-rex chasing a triceratops! The kids who play tennis alongside T-Rex in Indiana are as tenacious and tough as their dino coach. They play with sheer determination, laughing heartily, and displaying impeccable sportsmanship. They bring a spirit of joy and camaraderie to the courts, making tennis matches as exciting as an adventure in the Jurassic era. So, if you ever find yourself in Indiana, don't forget to look beyond the basketball courts and cornfields. You might just catch a glimpse of Tennis-aurus Rex and his lively crew, engaging in a fiercely funny tennis match, that's sure to leave you roaring with laughter!

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
