NEW REFEREE TRAINING

WUSA will be offering referee training for any new referee. This training will begin with you officiating U8 games alongside a referee mentor/trainer; as well as an AR at the U12 level, alongside a mentor/trainer. You then move to the U10 level working either as a center referee (under a mentor/trainer supervision) or in a two-man configuration, partnered with a mentor/trainer. This training does not certify or recertify you but is required if you have no referee experience. Training schedule dates will be based on interest. Referees, once completing a season as a trainee referee; will be recommended to attend an Illinois Soccer Referee Committee (ISRC) sponsored certification class to get patched in order to continue officiating WUSA/Crossfire SC matches.
