Mike B07/19/20225This is the spot to go if you like hiking or fishing. Enjoy the breathtaking views by climbing to the summit of the kame, which are gravel deposits left behind by old glaciers. Nippersink Creek offers kayaking and fishing opportunities. A nice outdoor day is made possible by the variety of the terrain.
Jay G04/19/20225Large wide areas with stunning clusters of magnificent oak trees. access to a kayak-friendly stream and the Prairie Path. There are less mosquitoes and great weather in the spring/early summer and late summer. Dog and family friendly, but expect some ups and downs.
Jeff W07/20/20225What a wonderful lodge and lookout. Trails are enjoyable too. I like it. Desire more and more to use my artwork to depict the preserve
Sue B08/16/20225Canoeing, kayaking, and horseback riding are all permitted in this lovely park, which also has many pathways. The pathways contain both wooded and open areas. Consider taking sunscreen and bug repellent. Get a map and take a look at it before you start because the trails are not well marked.
