About Plainfield Park District Youth Day Camp

At our camp, we prioritize your child's safety and well-being. Our camp counselors are experienced, enthusiastic, and highly-trained, ensuring that your child is in good hands during the summer months. With a low camper-to-staff ratio, our campers are able to benefit from individualized attention and engaging activities. We are proud to offer a variety of fun and educational activities both indoors and outdoors. Our camp is conveniently located and provides great value for parents. To give parents even more peace of mind, we also offer Before and After Camp care for an additional charge. Our camp is designed with your child's safety and entertainment in mind. We strive to provide a safe and engaging environment for your child to explore, have fun, and make new friends during the summer. Our highly-trained staff and low camper-to-staff ratios ensure that your child is looked after and able to get the most out of their summer camp experience.

Plainfield Park District Youth Day Camp

The camps organized by the Plainfield Park District are recreational in nature and revolve around the following goals: to provide opportunities to learn new skills, make new friends and build confidence. We hire counselors who we believe will help us achieve these goals. They are called upon to be a mentor, educator and friend. They are asked to give of themselves to the utmost, thus helping to meet the above as well as have a fun, safe and enjoyable summer at our camp.
