Brenda F10/03/20225We visited the arboretum at night to view the lights. Such a wonderful walk over illuminated paths! That was lovely and worth seeing and listening to when the music and lighting were synchronized. Extremely pleasant one-mile walk with a pleasant view, campfires set up to warm up, and rest spots with hot beverages for those who need to warm up inside. There were also warm restrooms accessible. Overall excellent evening; happy we could go before the season ended. Online ticket sales were going soon out of stock. Hence, if you want to go the next year, you had better buy tickets quickly before they sell out!
Sandy U11/15/20225A peaceful, tranquil, quiet spot to wander and explore with a variety of plants. I enjoy the enormous garden statues, and each time I visit, I find a new route. Here, cross-country skiing is both convenient and enjoyable. The trails are beginner to intermediate in difficulty and offer a wonderful range of hills and views. The Winter Light Show is spectacular, enjoyable for the whole family, and features a wide range of lighting effects. A membership is worthwhile since there is so much to do at the Arboretum, including workshops and activities.
Alona E10/26/20225Wonderful location for a day spent in the outdoors with stunning views. Wear walking shoes, because this location is enormous! The human + nature statues, which I believe might have benefited more guidance on the paths, are similarly impossible to spot without maps. If not for the gift shop's overpriced things and the expensive beverages and meals (a little hot chocolate cost $6), I would give this place a perfect five-star rating.
Reese R11/25/20225The Morton Arboretum is a place I adore. I attended the weekend event about chocolate. The best ever! The fall festival offers a variety of activities in addition to unique exhibitions. Excellent location for exercise. Just take a look at the trees to locate an adventure. I distinctly recall learning about this location while searching online and deciding to drive by and have a look. Since then, I have joined, and I'm glad I did. Enjoy the pictures I took in the past and recently.
Rob T10/04/20225I spent a good deal of time at the Arboretum; it is a well kept place. You can choose to pursue nature, art, or both. We loved the hedge maze; even though there were a ton of children there for science camp, you could still enter and attempt to get lost while attempting to find your way out. The majority of the sculptures were within driving distance for us. To find each artwork, use the given map and the corresponding signage. While searching for a sculpture, we had the good fortune to spot two deer in the woods. We absolutely loved the whole experience.
