The Kankakee Area YMCA's Y-Kids program is here for those who need before and after-school care for school-aged children in our area. Working with the Kankakee County schools, we have developed a program to serve many children!
This year, we are offering our before and after-school child care on-site at Kennedy Middle School to serve Kankakee School District 111, Liberty and Shepard to serve Bourbonnais School District 53, Bradley East to serve Bradley School District 61 and Bonfield Elementary School to serve Herscher School District 2. 

Y-KIDS CHILDCARE

The Y offers an array of exciting sports programs - whether it’s gaining the confidence that comes with learning a new sport, building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, or learning new skills, participating in sports at the Y is about building the whole athlete, inside and out.

The YMCA is the nationwide leader in helping people of all ages feel safe in the water. Each year, the Kankakee Area YMCA teaches thousands of children and adults to swim and certifies a large percentage of area lifeguards. From swim lessons to birthday pool parties to swim team, you'll find water fun at the Y.
