At Huntley Stingray Bay, parents and children can enjoy the benefits of Starfish Swimming. This nationally recognized swim instruction curriculum is designed to help kids build their swimming and water safety skills. Developed by the Starfish Aquatics Institute (SAI), the program offers a series of color awards that swimmers can earn as their skills progress. Starting with StarBabies/StarTots classes, kids can gradually work their way up to the five levels of Starfish Swim School and eventually to Starfish Stroke School. Huntley Stingray Bay is an official provider of Starfish Swimming, a highly regarded swimming instruction program. Developed and administered by the Starfish Aquatics Institute (SAI), the program is designed to help children develop both swimming and water safety skills. The program follows a progressive structure which begins with StarBabies/StarTots classes and advances through the five levels of Starfish Swim School to the Starfish Stroke School. As children progress, they can earn a series of color awards that signify their achievement.

Are you ready to join an Olympic-caliber swim team? The Huntley Stingray Swim Team offers just that! Practice is four to five days per week at Stingray Bay, and the team competes in the North Central Illinois Swim Conference. Dual meets occur on Tuesday evenings, and the season culminates with the NCISC Championship meet on a Saturday in mid-July. Parent involvement is a must for the Stingrays team to succeed, and volunteers are essential! Parents can be timers, announcers, and more. Your little swimmer's dream of becoming an Olympic-caliber athlete starts here! If your child is an aspiring Olympic swimmer, the Huntley Stingray Swim Team is the perfect place to start! Swimmers will practice four to five days per week at Stingray Bay and compete in the North Central Illinois Swim Conference at both Stingray Bay and various pools in the surrounding area. In addition, dual meets will take place on Tuesday evenings, and the season ends with the NCISC Championship meet on a Saturday in mid-July. Parents, your help is needed to ensure the team's success! Volunteering is strongly encouraged and there is a wide range of roles for you to fill. Timers, announcers, and more are all welcome! We offer a recreational cheer program, with no tryouts needed and open to kids in kindergarten through eighth grade, regardless of their skill level. Our goal is to help children build self-confidence, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm while having fun. The Huntley Cheer Association is committed to providing an affordable program for our families. As a not-for-profit organization, we depend on sponsors to help us make it possible. We strive to make cheerleading accessible to all children who want to participate, no matter their skill level, and to provide an environment where they can build their confidence and have fun. No matter the skill level, the Huntley Cheer Association is a non-profit organization that welcomes all children from kindergarten to eighth grade who want to experience the joy and spirit of cheerleading.
