Spring Break Adventures Club

School's out, adventure is in! Discover everything The Grove has to offer! Each day has a different theme. Learn about our world through exploration, critter encounters, hikes, crafts, and more. Join us for one or all five days of spring break fun! Please make sure to dress appropriately for the weather as a large portion of this program will be outdoors.This is a drop off program and a daily snack is included.

On the Farm Craft Workshops

Animals are the stars of the show at Historic Wagner Farm, so let's showcase them in some fun crafts! In December, create a farmyard ornament; in January make a birdfeeder; in February make a valentine bag shaped like a cow, chicken, cat or pig; and in March, encourage spring's arrival by creating a basket of chicks. The 10 a.m. class is for a child accompanied by an adult and the fee is listed per adult-child pair. Both children and adults are welcomed in the 4 p.m. workshops

Sewing in the Farmhouse

Sewing is both useful and fun! Head into the historic farmhouse and discover the joy of using a needle and thread. In January, learn to mend clothes; in February, use fabric scraps to make unique Valentines; and in March, make a quilt square inspired by the animals on the farm. These workshops are adapted to ability levels and will use appropriate tools for varying ages. The 10 a.m. class is for a child accompanied by an adult and the fee is listed per adult-child pair. Both children and adults are welcome in the 1:30 p.m. workshops.
