At the Classical Martial Arts Academy, we believe in the power of martial arts to create happier, healthier, and more vibrant communities. Our mission is to serve the Frankfort, Mokena, and New Lenox areas by teaching the authentic Okinawan martial arts of Shobayashi-Ryu (Shorin Ryu). Our program combines traditional and classical training methods to develop true ability in martial arts, in a friendly and hard-working environment. Classical Martial Arts Academy students form strong bonds with their classmates based on the shared experience of martial arts training. We strive to create an engaging atmosphere in which all students can reach their full potential. Our school culture is dedicated to using martial arts for fitness, self-defense, and competition, and for the betterment of the individual and the community.
