Art Studio

Our pottery studio is the perfect place for kids to express their creativity! We specialize in teaching children how to make ceramic pieces from clay. Our instructors provide the wet clay and clay tools needed to make handbuilt pieces, like molds, coils, slabs, and underglazes. The final product will be ready for pickup after about three weeks. We welcome children ages five and up to join us and create something beautiful. 

Bringing out the artist in your little one has never been easier! At our pottery studio, children ages five and up can learn how to make ceramic pieces from wet clay and clay tools. With the help of our instructors, kids use molds, coils, slabs, and underglazes to transform clay into fun and unique pieces. After approximately three weeks, their completed works of art will be ready for pickup.

Children explore different clay techniques and create fun and unique projects. Pinch, coil, and slab techniques are taught and used to make a different project each day. Children paint their projects using underglazes. ​ We will have a pre-determined set of projects for each week. ​​ Please note, there is a possibility your child may have already made a project that is scheduled for the day but can be modified and decorated differently.

SUMMER CAMPS 2023​

Students will make and glaze clay projects, and learn about the tools and techniques used to create a ceramic piece from start to finish. Each child works on their own pieces. Our tools and instructions apply to all ages. Older children tend to add more detail to their work than younger children. Each child, irrespective of age, is allowed full creative freedom with his or her work. All workshops and camps are drop-off events.

KIDS POTTERY CAMPS & WORKSHOPS  (For ages 5 and up)   

Handbuilding is the method of manipulating clay using one's hands and handheld tools. Children will use slab, coil, and pinch techniques to create and paint ceramic projects. Basic project shapes are predetermined for each class of the session. Completed pieces will be ready for pickup in approximately 3 weeks.
