At our camp, we strive to provide a great camper-to-staff ratio to ensure that our campers get the most out of their experience. Our counselors are not just supervisors; they are interactive and engaging, helping to bring the campers’ imaginative play to life. Our counselors are all skilled in performance arts, such as music, singing, dancing, and acting, and have the ability to support the campers’ games with the necessary materials, physical help, and even by playing a character.
For the animal-lovers in the bunch, we have an acreage where campers can learn about and interact with a variety of animals. Our acreage is home to chickens, calves, sheep, goats, pigs, and a Jersey cow named Mrs. Moore and her daughter Little Moore who are part of an oxen team. Campers can collect eggs, bottle-feed baby goats and calves, and even help with lunch cleanup alongside our two furry pals, Herschel the Labrador and Gatsby the English Bulldog.
We enjoy the diversity of our campers and their families and operate under the guidelines of non-discriminatory policies for public facilities and organizations. Children at camp are respected as individuals. We know there are individual needs and if you have any concerns regarding your child, please contact a staff member. We encourage open dialogue between the campers, guardians/parents and staff about camp issues and concerns. It is very rare for a child to be asked not to return to camp. We do, however, reserve that option.
