About Trinity Prep Aquatics

Trinity Prep Aquatics (TPA) is proud of its rich history in competitive swimming. Founded in 2000 under the umbrella of the Trinity Preparatory School in the Greater Orlando area, this team is composed of athletes and coaches who have achieved success at the highest levels, from the Olympic Games to NCAA Championships. TPA is a family-oriented program that offers recreational and competitive swimming opportunities, focusing on excellence in coaching, technique, and facility operations. With year-round groups in a 50-meter pool, swimmers can practice in a state-of-the-art environment tailored to their individual needs. Whether it’s achieving success at the highest level or just having fun in the pool, TPA has something for everyone.

SUMMER SHARKS

Summer Sharks is split into three groups. The introduction to swimming group focuses on the basics of floating, strokes, and increasing comfort in the water. The middle group centers around learning all four strokes, turns, and diving. The top group teaches all four strokes and refines new and existing technique. Sharks is coached by the TPA coaching staff and assisted with in-water volunteers from TPA.

PRE-TEAM

TPA's Pre-Team happens in the spring and fall and is offered on Saturday mornings from 10:30am 11:30pm. Pre-Team focuses on learning proficient swimming skills in a non-competitive environment and is open to swimmers ages 4-14. Pre-Team is coached by the TPA coaching staff and assisted with in-water volunteers from TPA.

JUNIOR GROUP

Junior group focuses on preparing the swimmers for the Senior group. Training focuses on development, strength, and technique. Athletes are encouraged to dedicate themselves to the sport at the Junior group level, as swimmers can make large drops during this age. Members of junior group range in age from 11 to 18.
