About Patel Conservatory

Students who attend the Conservatory will be inspired to dream big and explore their creativity within the performing arts. They will be given the necessary tools to reach their potential and discover their artistic side. The Conservatory will also provide resources to help students integrate their newfound knowledge of the performing arts into their everyday life, as well as contribute to the community. The Patel Conservatory offers an unprecedented level of performing arts training to its students. Through an inspirational setting, they will be given the opportunity to explore and create within the performing arts, enabling them to gain the skills necessary to bring their dreams to life. Students will also learn how to apply their newfound knowledge to everyday life, and will get the chance to give back to the community. The Patel Conservatory is accredited by the Southern Association of College and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI). With its focus on providing students with the tools necessary to dream, reach, discover, and create the performing arts, it is no surprise that the Conservatory has established a reputation as a premier performing arts school. Students who attend the Conservatory will be inspired to imagine, explore, and develop their artistic side, and ultimately use their knowledge to make a positive impact in the community.

Patel Conservatory Youth Ballet (PCYB)

The Patel Conservatory Youth Ballet's disciplined course of study enables students to grow from beginning ballet to major performing opportunities at the Straz Center including Nutcracker. Each PCYB division has a sequence of levels designed to meet the students’ developmental and technical needs. Classes impart a technique combining an American speed and lightness in the lower limbs while maintaining a classical port de bras.

SUMMER CLASSES

At the Patel Conservatory, we believe that every student, regardless of age, or experience, deserves the opportunity to participate in the performing arts and discover their creative potential. Our summer programs provide 10 weeks of training in the disciplines of Dance, Theater and Music. Camps, intensives and classes vary by length, participant age and level of proficiency. All Patel Conservatory summer experiences, whether auditioned or non-auditioned, require active learning participation by campers and result in an in-class showcase or ticketed performance element.

THEATER PRIVATE LESSONS

Prepare yourself to walk into any film or theater audition and nail it! Group or individual private coaching for auditions, acting or on-camera work is available through the Patel Conservatory Theater Department. Students work with seasoned professionals who have mastered the art of auditioning and performance for both stage and screen.
