Programs at Keystone Little League Baseball Complex in Tampa, FL

BeAKid
Tee Ball

The Tee Ball (co-ed) division is an important part of the Keystone Little League program. Its goal is to create and emphasize a positive experience for 4, 5 and 6 year old players at this level. Coaches should use positive reinforcement to develop basic baseball fundamentals and above all to ensure that the kid’s introduction into organized baseball is FUN! Although there is a tendency to keep score, there are NO recorded Wins or Losses at this level. Accordingly, coaches are prohibited from keeping score.

BeAKid
Rookie League

The Rookie League Minor division of baseball is an important part of the Keystone Little League program. Its goal is to create and emphasize a positive experience for the 6-8 year old players allowed at this level while emphasizing the fundamentals of baseball. Coaches should use positive reinforcement to develop basic baseball fundamentals and above all to ensure that the kid’s introduction into organized baseball is FUN! Although there is a tendency to keep score, there are NO recorded Wins or Losses at this level. Accordingly, coaches are prohibited from keeping score.

Junior

Intermediate Division baseball is an important part of the Keystone Little League program. Its goal is to create and emphasize a positive experience for the 12, 13, and 14 year old players allowed at this level. Coaches should use positive reinforcement to develop basic baseball fundamentals. This division is the first division where games are played on a regulation sized infield (60/90) and is an important year in the player’s development.
