About The Children's Garden and Art Center in Sarasota, FL

Climb into a world of make-believe and follow the yellow brick road to our enchanted Woodland Cafe! Here, little ones can explore their wildest dreams and sail the high seas on our Pirate Queen. Fairies can make tea in Fairyland and adventurers can ascend to the clouds in our tree fort! Kids can also get creative by making mud pies or mud cakes in Hobbitville, running through the cool mist in the rainforest, or dressing up in our costume room for some playful fun. Come join us in our mission of keeping kids connected to nature and help us make a difference in the lives of children!

Nature Scouts

This is a week of exploration & discovery of Mother Nature’s wonders. Some of our fun will be going on Bug Hunts, Lizard Chasing, Bird Watching, Tree Hugging & Upcycled Crafting. For being good Scouts & Stewards of the Earth, each child will earn a pin or patch to keep!

Earth Magik

Calling all Fairies, Elves & Wizards to an Enchanting week of unearthing the powers of Mother Nature in the Garden. We will be busy with Nature Spells, Potions, Concoctions & Herbal Magic! Fairy Dust, Wild Crafting & Forest Foraging for materials adds to the whimsy. A little make-believe makes this a week for the imagination!

Art Around the World 2

Crafty kids are going to love this camp week! Each day we are learning about a new country and the history behind their beautiful crafts & vibrant colors. This year we are starting with the Outback Australia and then moving to Bustling China and then Maple Country - Oh, Canada! This is a delightful artist’s week to inspire their creativity. We will serve a traditional snack for each country for the children to enjoy.

Single - Day Camp Week

Drop in for one day, two days… or all four! Fun nature activities and art & crafts make for treasured camp memories. Each mini-day camp is $30+tax for non-members & $27+tax for garden members. Each camp day runs from 10am to 2pm with drop offs no earlier than 9:45am and afternoon pickups no later than 2:15pm.
