About Suncoast Sports Club, Inc

At the Suncoast Sports Club, Inc., we believe children should be able to play and interact with their peers in an adult supervised and fun sports environment. We want them to be able to enjoy sports and learn basic skills while having fun. We don't want them to be bogged down with too many rules in the early stages (3 to 6 years of age). We want them to have the opportunity to learn the game by playing and to gain confidence in their abilities to play by the rules. Our philosophy is all about giving children the chance to have fun while learning how to play a sport. We provide an adult-supervised environment that encourages children to interact with each other and learn the basics of each sport. We don't want them to have to worry about too many rules in the early stages, but to learn the game by playing and to gain confidence in their abilities to play by the rules. With this approach, we believe children can have a safe, fun, and productive experience playing sports.

Flag Football-(Girls only, 8th grade thru 12th

The is an official Flag football program open to girls in 8th grade through 12th grade. No try-outs and no travel. All games will have two licensed football referees. Each team will have no more than 12 players per team and will play 7 vs 7 players. Ball will be placed on the 20 yard line for start of play and each team will have four downs to reach gain of play at midfield. Team will have four downs to make 20 yard line for another gain of play. Each team will then have four downs to score. Touch down is six points, extra points: RUN 2 pts., PASS 1 pt. Copy of rules will be given to all teams. This is non-contact flag football and place to learn and have fun.

Soccer Puppies Winter 2022

Soccer puppies is for two and three year old children and is a first kick program allowing children to use soccer as segue into sports! Meet new friends and kick the soccer ball. Parents requested to assist each player. FUN!!! and all welcome, co-ed. This is parent/child fun soccer program and has been successful for 15 years at Suncoast Sports Club at Glebe Park on Siesta Key. All participants receive jersey and soccer ball. simple drills and all get to score goals! Saturday morning fun!
