Meet Buzzy, the frizzy-haired, freckle-nosed leader of the bunch. Buzzy's a bit of an oddball - he can't tie his shoelaces, but he can tie you up in a Jiu Jitsu knot faster than you can say "orange". He doesn't just practice Jiu Jitsu, he breathes it, dreams it, and even eats his cereal in his gi. His friends, the Florida Fantastic, are just as unique. There's Luna, who can pin a person down with her pinky finger, and Timmy, so flexible he can touch his toes without bending his knees. And we can't forget about Jazzy Jasmine, who can twirl you around so fast, you'd think you were on Space Mountain. These kids aren't just fighters, they're friends, laughing and joking as they practice their holds and throws. They turn the mats into their own magical world, where they are heroes, ninjas, and warriors training for the greatest battle of all - the next Jiu Jitsu championship. Co-owner Mike “Little Giant” Bell has been a professional fighter for over four decades. He held the World Lightweight Kickboxing Champion title from 1980-1991, and he has had an astounding 90+ fights as a boxer. He has competed in seventeen countries, including Japan, Thailand, China, and France. Mike Bell is an 8th degree black belt in both Karate and Hapkido. He’s been teaching martial arts for 37 years and has earned the title of master instructor. With his vast experience and knowledge, Mike is the perfect mentor for any aspiring fighter. Whether you’re a beginner or a professional, Mike and the American Combat Club will help you reach your goals inside and outside the octagon.

The focus of our classes is on Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, a martial art practiced with the gi, a traditional uniform consisting of a jacket, pants and belt made from durable material. We offer classes for all levels, from the complete beginner to experienced competitors.
