About CMON Children's Museum of Naples in Naples, FL

Ally's dream of a children’s museum became a reality when the Golisano Children's Museum of Naples (CMON) opened its doors in 2002. Allyson Loos had a lifelong passion for kids. From babysitting in her teenage years to studying child psychology in college, she and her husband John were overjoyed when they welcomed their children Ben and Bianca. Sadly, Bianca passed away from bacterial meningitis at 13 months old. The Loos family relocated to their favorite vacation spot, Naples, Florida, and created a fund to help others, while honoring their daughter's memory. Ally's dream of a children's museum became a reality in 2002 when the Golisano Children's Museum of Naples (CMON) opened its doors. The museum was a way to keep Bianca's memory alive, while providing an educational experience and entertainment for kids. Today, the CMON is a vibrant and exciting place for children to explore. It offers them the chance to learn through interactive exhibits and activities, such as pretend play, arts and crafts, and science experiments. It is a place for children to grow, learn, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
