Founded in 1996 by Angela Ardolino, Miami Childrens Theater has developed into South Florida's premier performing arts center for young people. The organization offers classes, summer camps, and remarkable main stage productions, and has been recognized for its artistic excellence. In 2002, it was awarded the rights to the Les Miserables Student Edition and, in 2006, won the bid to become the resident theater operator for the state-of-the-art Robert Russell Theater in Kendall.
Miami Childrens Theater provides a unique opportunity for young people to learn about the performing arts. Miami Childrens Theater is extremely happy to announce our summer camp plans for 2022. This is our 26th year of summer camp fun and we cannot wait to start! Miami Childrens Theater has two summer camp programs. At our Coral Gables and Kendall location, we host our Creative Camps, musical theater camps for kids ages 6 through 12. At our Kendall location we conduct Broadway Bound, a musical theater camp for ages 13 through 18.
