Founded in 1996 by Angela Ardolino, Miami Childrens Theater has developed into South Florida's premier performing arts center for young people. In 2002, it was awarded the rights to the Les Miserables Student Edition and, in 2006, won the bid to become the resident theater operator for the state-of-the-art Robert Russell Theater in Kendall.
