About Miami Budokan - Kendo and Iaido School

At Miami Budokan, we believe that martial arts is an opportunity to explore this idea of self-discovery and self-overcoming. We strive to provide our students with a safe and supportive environment to explore the traditional Japanese martial arts of swordsmanship. We understand that true growth comes from within, and that is why we strive to not only teach the skills of swordsmanship, but to also foster an understanding of the philosophy behind it. Our academy is designed to provide a place for students to learn how to effectively apply the principles of kokkishin in their own lives. We focus on providing the highest quality instruction and mentorship to help our students on their journey of self-discovery and personal growth. With our experienced instructors and comprehensive curriculum, we believe we can help our students to truly master the skills of swordsmanship and the philosophy of kokkishin.
