At AV Kids Miami, we believe in giving children and teens the opportunity to explore and develop their talent as actors. Our program is led by experienced teaching artists from Miami's theatrical community. We've been helping kids discover their creative potential and build confidence for the past ten years! Our training center is designed to be an inclusive and safe space for children and teens to explore and express their creativity. Our experienced staff are passionate about fostering meaningful connections and helping kids find their voice through theatrical performances and classes. We provide a variety of classes to suit all levels of experience. From beginners to advanced students, we strive to provide an opportunity for all kids and teens to unlock their potential. ACTING CAMP

AVK is thrilled to be heading into our 11th annual ACTING CAMP! Acting Camp is a two-week acting intensive where campers will design, produce, and perform their own version of our favorite plays! Great for all ages (7+) and levels. Acting Camp empowers kids to make their own artistic choices. The ability to make strong choices is an artist’s lifeline! Over the two-week period campers will get to experience auditioning for the show, designing its sets, props, and costumes, and the thrill of performing their work live at the end of the session. AVK’s acting and technical coaches work side by side with campers to bring their vision to life. Along the way, campers will participate in specialty workshops from community leaders in acting, improv, dance, voice, and movement. Our productions are a true example of the power of teamwork and creativity. You will be amazed at what your children will accomplish in just two weeks!

All Ages Acting Troupe

This is our most popular class and it’s all about putting on a show! Performance Prep gives students the opportunity to experience theatre performance and production through conservatory style learning. Meeting twice a week for rehearsal, AVK’s acting troupe will produce and perform in a live production. This program includes acting lessons, specialty workshops, and one on one training while students work towards producing a live show. Students will gain experience in acting, voice, character building, improv, movement, live performance, and more! Performance Prep is designed for all levels and is guaranteed to inspire creativity, boost confidence, and sharpen an array of skills!​

Private Coaching

Private Coaching will focus on preparing monologues or songs for auditions and competition. Through personalized one on one training with our Artistic Director Ms. Vanessa.
