    About Island Gymnastics Center in Merritt Island, FL

    At Island Gymnastics Center, your child can explore the joys of gymnastics in a safe, positive environment. Through their classes, children will learn balance, coordination, flexibility, and strength. Each session is a set number of weeks with classes that stay the same, and you can join anytime during the session at a pro-rated cost. At the end of each session, current members must register for the following session in order to secure their spot. The registration timeline for each session will be posted in advance.

    Programs at Island Gymnastics Center in Merritt Island, FL

    Playful Parent and Me (1 1/2 to 3 year olds)

    This class is designed for parents to come in the gym and help their child experience gymnastics for the first time. The class begins with a fun warm-up and stretch. The parents follow the instructor to guide their child.

    Tiny Tots (2 1/2 to 3 1/2 year olds)

    This 50 minute class is for the independent tots. The class consists of a warm-up, stretching, obstacle courses, introduction to all of the gymnastics events, and tumble track.

    Terrific Tots (3 to 4 year olds)

    This class is for 3 and 4 year olds to come into the gym by themselves leaving Mommy and Daddy in the lobby. There is a class size of 6 children so the Tots are not sitting for too long at one time.
