About GO Basketball

Parents in our area are thrilled with the Girls Only Basketball program recently launched. It provides an opportunity for girls to engage in basketball competition in an environment free of boys. This gives the girls a chance to build confidence and develop basketball fundamentals without worrying about competing with boys. The program also provides a unique opportunity for girls to bond and form a comradery through their shared love of the sport. As many girls in our area do not have access to female-specific teams, this program gives them the chance to play with other girls and learn the skills necessary to succeed. The Girls Only Basketball program is a great way to get your daughters involved in the sport. It allows them to build confidence, develop their skills and play with other girls. With no boys in the league, girls can focus on the game and form strong relationships with their teammates. LEAGUE 7-9 YRS DIVISION

Division consists of girls in 1st – 3rd grade. Games are played at the same standards as the upper divisions as far as rules but are played on a 8.5ft rim instead of 10ft rim (and are played with a 27.5″ ball instead of 28.5″) 6-WEEK SUMMER LEAGUE will run from July-August. Practice and game schedule will be provided once registration closes. There will be one mid week practice and one game per week.

LEAGUE 9-11 YRS DIVISION

This division is for girls in 4th and 5th grade, as well as inexperienced 6th graders looking to prepare for middle school basketball or experienced / skilled 3rd graders looking to further advance their game (this division plays on a 10ft rim with size 28.5 basketball)

LEAGUE UPPER DIVISION/HIGH SCHOOL

Majority of players in this division are in 7th – 9th or 10-12th grade; occasionally includes some younger skilled and experienced 6th graders may be added. 4-WEEK FALL LEAGUE will run from MID October-Beginning of November. Practice and game schedule will be provided once registration closes. There will be one mid week practice and one game per week.
