About The Swim Academy

Since 1996, The Swim Academy in Boca Raton, FL has strived to provide an effective, productive, and positive instruction and training style for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Our individual-centered approach is tailored to each swimmer, so no matter their readiness level, they can learn the skills necessary to become safe and confident in the water. From infants and toddlers to teens and beyond, we offer specialized instruction that caters to the needs of the fearful and the fearless. At The Swim Academy, we can help your swimmer continue their education in swimming through stroke development and competitive swimming training. Our experienced instructors will work with your swimmer to reach their full potential, ensuring that they get the most out of their swimming experience.

Learn to Swim
Learn to Swim classes are designed to teach water safety and an introduction to a basic freestyle. This is a developmentally based instruction program. Students will learn their balance, buoyancy, safety float, and beginning kick and arms within this class.

Stroke Development
For swimmers graduating our Learn to Swim course we offer our Stroke Development program, which is divided into six levels ranging from freestyle through butterfly.

Water Warriors
Any swimmer 4 years or older who demonstrates proficiency in freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke are eligible to join our swim team. We are members of the South Florida Recreational Swim League.
