SUMMER CAMP

Campers make friends, have fun, get active and discover who they are and what they can achieve. Kids can expect to experience something new every day Whether it’s through singing or swimming, through nature hikes or sports, or fashion shows or leadership training, we help them grow as individuals and leaders Y Campers will even sit with a literacy teacher daily to prevent summer learning losses! Includes lunch and weekly activities!

Afterschool Programs

At the Y, we believe all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. Our Afterschool programs provide a fun, safe place for kids to learn, grow and thrive. With a focus on safety, health, social growth and academic enrichment, Y Afterschool Programs take place in a caring and encouraging environment at our YMCA Family Centers, School Based and Community Locations in Broward and Miami-Dade counties. We empower youth by providing programming that, in addition to giving them something to do, builds academic and creative abilities. And, our Inclusion programs allow children, teens and adults with special needs to participate in activities alongside their peers and create a mutual sense of belonging.

Club Y

In Club Y your afterschool will be a S.T.A.R engaging in STEAM, TUTORING, ARTS & RECREATION programs. These programs encompass a broad range of focus areas including academic support and mentoring, positive youth development, arts, sports and recreation. The activities youth engage in outside of school hours are critical to their overall development, and Club Y is here to support that. A rotation schedule of all activities throughout the week is offered, with daily homework/tutoring being the start of our afternoon.
